"He Dared Death To Save A Stranger!... Why?"
Bill Sheldon harbors some grudge against Brandon Williams, the publisher of the Midland City newspaper. Sheldon blames Williams for allegedly using his power and influence to intercept government money for flood control. When Williams is found murdered not much later, Sheldon is charged with the crime.
