The Great Gold Swindle plot

In June 1982, a daring and brilliant crime is committed that causes the Australian Mint in Perth to lose 650,000 Australian dollars. Employees hand over that amount of gold in exchange for three counterfeit checks. The people behind this crime mainly work via telephone and letter, and therefore remain virtually invisible.
