Viktor Kärppä is a former Russian agent haunted by his past. He settles in Finland, the country of his ancestors, and tries to make ends meet as a private detective and businessman for Russian migrants. However, he keeps getting involved in organized crime cases. Kärppä is not a murderer despite his appearance. Can he change his identity by settling across the border?
