Lefèvre is a professional thief who is employed by a mysterious man to steal a powerful military weapon. One of his accomplices is asked to keep Engineer Talbot busy. Unfortunately, the engineer's wife also plans to kill her husband the same night, drawing the police's attention to the whole case. Talbot, who also organized a theft on his own, is also arrested as a result. Lefevre and his accomplices are safe, but they think the million dollars they eventually got their hands on is counterfeit money and throw it away...
