Pailalim plot

Bangis, his wife Barbie and their daughter Ningning are penniless homeless who live in a huge cemetery in Manila. They take shelter in tombs and sleep on gravestones. They loot graves and strip the corpses of their valuables and then sell them on the black market. Every now and then vigilantes are sent by the municipality to chase the many illegal residents out of the graveyard, but the guard is easily bribed with sexual favors and a moment later they can all return. Ningning is seriously ill. In order to pay for her medical expenses, Bangis wants to open the grave of a recently buried rich man, rob the jewels and sell the corpse for big money.
