Aileen Wuornos (Jean Smart) is abandoned by her mother at a very young age. As a child she is abused by her father and grandfather and abused by her first husband. She ends up in the lonely and risky profession of a prostitute, with which she hardly earns any money. Her life begins to take on criminal forms and she starts to kill.
