Legion of Terror plot
"SCREEN DYNAMITE!"
In Washington, DC, Frank Marshall and his friend Slim Hewitt are sworn in as postal inspectors. Both have been tasked with identifying the sender of a time bomb for US Senator Morton. During their investigation, Frank and Slim encounter the Hood Legion, a secret organization that terrorizes the Connecticut town of Sanfield. On the train to Sanfield, Frank and Slim meet Nancy Foster, who fears for her brother Don's life because he receives threatening letters. Don openly condemns the terrorists.
