Le Parfum de la Dame en Noir plot
There has been an atmosphere of concern at Glandier Castle for over a year now. Professor Stangerson passed away. His daughter Mathilde is a victim of fear and believes she is being watched continuously. Though she is about to marry Robert Darzac, her father's former assistant, she enlists the help of the journalist Rouletabille, convinced that her first husband, the mobster Ballmayer, aka Larsan, has not died. When she receives a bottle of perfume on her wedding anniversary, it only strengthens her suspicions.
