"LA's finest have crossed the thin blue line between Cop and Criminal..."
LAPD agents Steele (Singer) and Wade (Bacic) impress their corrupt colleague Alexander (Madsen) after their Wild West approach to a bank robbery. However, their Chief Inspector Ellsworth (Hopper) is much less enthusiastic and keeps a close eye on them. Alexander introduces them to the corrupt police world and before they know it they are up to their ears in decadent parties with sex, drugs and rock & roll galore! It seems very attractive, but soon the two agents are troubled by their conscience.
