Il Rossetto plot
Silvana, a teenage girl, is in love with Gino, a man she met by chance. She learns that Gino is responsible for the death of a prostitute and is forced to testify for or against the person she loves. She saves him by hiding things. Afterwards, her mother sends her to a monastery. The girl is desperate and tries to commit suicide. One of the sisters manages to save her. The next day she is questioned again by Inspector Fioresi, who is investigating the murder of the prostitute.
