Hannin ni Tsugu plot

"This is for the killer. Go to sleep trembling in fear tonight."

Inspector Makishima has failed to capture the suspect in a kidnapping case of a boy who was subsequently murdered. He also made a blunder at a press conference. He's still very much on this one. Six years later, he's trying to improve himself when he's asked to investigate a murder. It is now about a series of murders of children. Makishima, who still has scars from his previous case, takes the case. He appears on television as responsible for this case and orders the perpetrator to surrender himself. However, it is not made easy for him, including by other TV stations.
