Half Past Midnight plot
"You have a date...with DANGER, MURDER and ROMANCE!"
The runaway private detective Wade Hamilton meets Sally Ferris in a nightclub. Wade learns that Sally was being blackmailed by the Spanish dancer Cortez, who was murdered last night. Sally is prime suspect. Wade decides to help Sally, which leads to the police chasing them both. In the Chinatown neighborhood, Wade and Sally hope to find the real culprit.
