Guilty? plot

Senator Daniel Polk is sentenced to prison for bribery, which is based on circumstantial evidence. As a result, his daughter Carolyn is rejected by her peers. Later, Carolyn attracts the attention of Bob Lee, the judge's son, and they fall in love. Daniel is released on parole and Bob and Carolyn get engaged. Judge Lee, who is now a senator, and Daniel get into an argument over this engagement.
