Goupi Mains Rouges plot

After years of absence, Goupi (Jean-Philippe Écoffey) returns to his native village, where his parents want to pair him up with a niece, Muguet (Séverine Vincent). He is received extremely coolly by his uncle Mains-Rouges (Maurice Barrier), who clearly wants to test his cousin from Paris. The return of Goupi coincides with the theft of a considerable sum of money.
