Girl in Room 13 plot
American private detective Steve Marshall is assigned to go to Sao Paulo, Brazil, to track down the fugitive murderess Louise Dunning. Marshall has indeed been able to find out the whereabouts of Louise, but he has to determine that she was killed by her husband in self-defense. Marshall also has to learn that he was deliberately sent to Sao Paulo as bait for taking down a spy network: he unwittingly helps the police arrest the spies.
