Geheimnis einer Ärztin plot

Hospital doctor Gerda (Hilde Krahl) is wrongly blamed for the unnatural death of a patient and ends up in prison. After her discharge, she works as an animator in a bar and sings in a nightclub. She meets Professor Stephan (Ewald Balser) and he arranges for her to be rehabilitated and allowed to work as a trusted doctor for the police. Her former boyfriend Georg (Erik Frey) turns out to be the head of a drug gang and was the source of all her misery.
