"Detectives endure record-breaking heat while seeking a rapist/killer who assaulted a female officer during a stakeout."

Serial rapist Alan Slocom strikes again, raping one of his former victims. Fearing a major scandal, the police are doing everything they can to catch Slocom this time. Agent Eileen Burke is used as a decoy, but Slocom manages to mislead the police and rapes Eileen. She now also has a personal reason to put Slocom behind bars.
