Luise Conradin (Marianne Koch) is deeply impressed by new tenant Thomas Melchior (Robert Graf). The businessman courts the young woman, but he doesn't take it as seriously as she'd hoped. For the cool blonde Karin Becker (Christiane Nielsen) he finally ends the affair. Shortly afterwards, Melchior is shot. Was it murder or suicide?
