Contre Enquête: Mort d'un Héros plot

50-year-old Hélène Villion works as an investigative journalist for a major newspaper. One day she hears on her answering machine a message from a young soldier who served in Afghanistan. After leaving his mysterious message, the young man jumps from the roof of his apartment building. The idealistic Hélène wants to find out at all costs what drove the young soldier to this act of despair and bites into her investigation. However, she encounters a wall of indifference and silence both with her editor-in-chief and with the army top.
