Circus plot
"A Stylish Brit Thriller"
Brighton, England. Leo Garfield, a conman and indebted gambler, is married to the beautiful Lily, an American with a rather dark past. Both want to make one last big blow and then retire in Cuba. But the psychopathic mob boss Bruno wants to put a stop to that. Leo is hired by Julius, Bruno's bookkeeper, to kill Julius' wife. But the victim turns out not to be Julius's wife, but Moose's girlfriend, Bruno's bodyguard. Plus, Julius filmed the murder so he can blackmail Leo at will. And to make things even more complicated, bookmaker Troy Leo is also on his tail.
