Sheriff Wes Clayton is a compassionate servant and bishop in a quiet community called Brighton. However, the quiet town is shaken to its foundations when a California woman is found dead near her car. Clayton, the young deputy sheriff, the retired sheriff and his shrewd secretary team up with the sent-in FBI agent to investigate the case.
