Black Diamonds plot
"DISASTER! Doomed to death in a dynamite-loaded mine!"
Walter Norton is a reporter for the big city newspaper. When he is assigned to become the newspaper's war correspondent, he decides to make a stopover in his hometown before leaving for Europe. While there, Archie Connor, who also works at the local mine with his father, tells Norton that the mine is unsafe. Norton isn't sure he can do anything, but on the morning he leaves for Europe, his father is injured in an explosion at the mine. Norton postpones his departure and, disguised as a miner, enters the mine to see the conditions for himself.
