Belleville Story plot

In the Parisian district of Belleville, Africans, Asians, Eastern Europeans and many other nationalities reside in a much too small area. The little crook Freddy is the accomplice of the Pole Jadzec, who specializes in healing and trafficking in women with his group. During a deal - what should be a load of HD televisions now turn out to be Chinese refugees - things go wrong. One of the fugitives doesn't stop screaming and hotheaded Freddy loses his cool and knocks her down. Just then, the Chinese mobster Wang, Jadzec's boss, makes his appearance. As punishment for his misbehavior, Freddy has to visit another Chinese, Zhu, and hand him a paper bag with a revolver. It soon becomes apparent that this is part of a criminal settlement, and Freddy warns Zhu. Zhu manages to escape, but Freddy doesn't. He gets one more chance from Wang. Either Freddy kills Zhu that night, or he dies himself...
