Banlieusards plot

Good film about three brothers who grew up in a suburb of Paris. The film remains entertaining as the three main characters each have their own story. Story-wise, perhaps a little too much hay is taken on the fork and you can see the end coming. Good acting and some nice shots.

I found the trailer catchy because that's where I especially came forward because there might be good acting.. and I enjoyed it

From the 'little' everyday mother / youngest son conversations / clashes. The struggle of the exhausted mother, who loves her children unconditionally.

Until the suburban rivalry.

The moral lesson is there, but in my opinion certainly not too present.

Just enough, partly because of the beautiful, strong debate between the white female student and the black male student.

Thought it was nice that there was room for this, in a film that ultimately has it all:

Excitement, a bit of romance, humour, action, drama… Strong!

Not bad, decent even. However, a theme that has already been used several times. Still quite charmed by this almost light-hearted film about the banlieues in which a person always has to make the choice for himself which path he wants to take. Although it is also understandable that whatever choice you make, it is not always easy.

It could all be a bit sharper or grittier, it also tends more towards a feel-good movie, which may have been the intention of the film. The characters are rather one-sided and the moral sermon hangs strongly in the air. And yet I enjoyed it. Nicely disarming entertaining film without much extra, admittedly.
