Film adaptation of the novel of the same name by international bestselling author Patricia Cornwell. Ambitious prosecutor Monique Lamont (Andie MacDowell) wants to run for governor. In order to profile herself, she vows to solve a fifty-year-old murder case. Her investigator Winston Garano reluctantly takes the case. But the deeper he dives into this ancient mystery, the more he and his mistress are in danger. Someone doesn't want this old murder solved. Just as Garano heads for a breakthrough, things take a shocking turn.
