Argentina in the 1930s. Ramón Valdés Cora, a former corrupt police officer, is hired to silence Senator Lisandro de la Torre. His revelations about corruption in the meat trade lead to a conspiracy that culminates in the assassination of Senator Enzo Bordabehere during a parliamentary session.
