Alibi plot

mrs. Ferrars, a wealthy widow who is said to have killed her husband, dies. It seems like an accident, until Roger Ackroyd, a widower who has a crush on Mrs. Ferrars had a confession. When he dies after the confession, detective Hercule Poirot springs into action.
