Akechi Kogoro tai Kaijin Niju Menso plot

In post-war Japan, the successful art and jewelry thief Niju Menso (Takeshi Kitano) becomes the topic of conversation. Despite the fact that he himself warns the national museum in advance and the art treasures are well protected, Niju Menso manages to remove them from under their noses. The equally bright detective Akechi (Masakazu Tamura) soon sees through Niju's bag of tricks, and devises a plan to outsmart him next time. A few months later, the time has come and the museum receives another warning. This time the famous Romanov diamond is the target. Will Niju be able to complete the heist with Akechi lurking?
