Ex-prisoner Konrad Kühn smells money with the sale of an apparently uninhabited house on the Baltic Sea. He pretends to be the only heir, but someone lives in the supposedly uninhabited house: Clara Mensen. Together with her friend Valeska, she tries everything to prevent the sale. But Mayor Flasskamp also has his sights set on Clara's land.
