Sheriff Bob Wells plans to marry Sally Morgan, but she loves Wanenis, a half-caste Indian. Sally runs off during the wedding and flees with the hypochondriac Henry Williams, who in his innocence gives her a lift. However, Sally has left a suicide note in which she gives the impression of wanting to start a relationship with Henry. Now not only Bob is after them, but Henry's nurse Mary Custer, who had a crush on Henry, doesn't want to give up her loot without a fight.
