Where There's Life plot

Michael Valentine is a New Yorker who believes he is the sole heir to the throne of Barovia. He is rejected for that, but when he kidnaps the beautiful General Katrina Grimovitch, the tide turns. Valentine begins to understand that his position may not have been so bad in hindsight.
