When Doctors Disagree plot

Violet Henry is the conceited daughter of a wealthy miser. She refuses to allow Millie Martin to attend her maypole party because she is poor. The next day, Millie travels with her father to a neighboring village to pay a loan. On the train, she falls in love with John Turner, a young man on the run, suspected of murder. He poses as his uncle, a renowned surgeon. Millie feigns serious illness, and John recommends surgery, hoping to get her off the train in the next town. John is also assigned to assist with the operation. After several incidents at the hospital, the couple is revealed to be engaged.
