West of Broadway plot

Rancher Bruce Elwood learns that golf champion Freddie Hayden is in the area for a match. Elwood invites Freddie to teach at Cowboy Golf Club. Upon arrival, Freddie turns out to be a woman, much to Elwood's dismay. Freddie is staying at the ranch and the cowboys forget they have work to do and take golf lessons. Bad Willie, a cattle thief, also sees something in Freddie.
