Vado a Riprendermi il Gatto plot

Alceo Brancicaroli, a wealthy farmer, lives alone in the Romagna countryside with his cat Zuanin. He is an enthusiastic worker, has friends and enjoys the good local food. Staying true to his childhood sweetheart who was killed by a German soldier in World War II, he never wanted to marry. One month a year a prostitute comes to stay with him, whom he treats like a wife. This time he has his eye on the young beautiful Esther.
