Up in the World plot
The Bandervilles are rich, live on a large estate and are terrified that someone will kidnap their son, Sir Reginald, which has been attempted before. They also take many safety measures. For example, every employee must have a pass and everything is locked. A group of thugs prepare for a kidnapping. They already have someone among the employees but they need a ladder for their plan but the ladders are also locked up. The only one who has the key is the window cleaner. They cause the window cleaner to have an accident to take his place. But a clumsy man, Norman, manages to steal the job right in front of them. Now they have to deal with him too.
