True Legends of the West plot
Boston native Philip Bartholomew Rellington wakes up in the desert near Tucson. He is sick with grief over his lost love Betsy, his mail-order bride. He has come to the west to win back her love. Betsy herself is more attentive to the romantic bandit "Two Gun Sly Willy" and tries to get his attention. Willy is not only wanted by Betsy, the arm of the law is also eagerly looking for him. That representative of the law comes in the form of cowboy Big John and his friend Talking Bull. Tucson's saloon is run by the nervous Theodore Sutherland and his always cranky wife Sylvia. The saloon is the meeting place for all and also the place where identity is changed, revolvers are drawn, legends are made, broken down and restored.
