Carlo D'Amore (Geronimo Meynier) is in love with Gabriella Cocozza (Christine Kaufmann) and wants to marry her. The problems start when the mutual parents meet and the two fathers don't like each other. They argue about anything and everything until even the wedding is cancelled. Then Carlo and Gabriella decide to flee.
