Tinseltown plot

Two Hollywood writers live together in a storage basement. They are convinced that the owner of the basement is the famous "Costume Killer" - a serial killer, dressed in ridiculous costumes, who haunts the streets of Los Angeles. The two are inspired by the so-called killer and try to write a 'blockbuster' scenario at all costs.
