Time Helmet plot

"If you can't change your future…change your past!"

Donald Voltmann invents a time-traveling helmet to change his life. Instead, he becomes embroiled in a plot by his future self to blackmail his ex-wife with a patent. Now he must battle his future self and the Time Police to save himself from financial ruin and win his daughter's love.
