The Ugly Duckling plot
Henry Jekyll is a clumsy and socially inept buffoon who works in his uncle's pharmacy. One day, he discovers an ancient formula, created by his uncle, that can turn a humble man into a fearless, domineering person. He uses the formula, takes the potion, and becomes the dashing and confident Teddy Hyde. Teddy immediately becomes a darling in exclusive circles and is very successful with the ladies. But it also has its dark sides...
