The Super plot
"The best way to punish a slumlord is to make him a tenant."
Louie Kritski is a mean slum landlord. He doesn't show an ounce of humanity and is a real money wolf. When he has once again started knocking the money out of his tenants' pockets, he is met by Naomi Bensinger from the housing service. Louie is summoned: the electricity is completely out of order, the sanitary facilities leave a lot to be desired, and the heating is not at all satisfactory. The court gives him 120 days of detention in his own building, during which he is obliged to completely renovate it. He is only allowed to leave the building in an emergency. In addition, he may not refurbish his own apartment until all other flats have been renovated.
