The Shocking Miss Pilgrim plot

In the early 1800s, Cynthia Pilgrim graduates as one of the first students to learn how to use a typewriter. She is hired at a large company in Boston and is the first female employee there. Although her male colleagues are skeptical at first, she soon wins them over with her charm. The handsome, young owner also falls for her. However, their romance is put under pressure when Cynthia becomes involved in a movement for women's suffrage.
