The Pirates of Penzance plot
Frederic is an orphaned boy. He is of good descent, but his nanny's hardness of hearing means he is trained as a pirate instead of a pilot. He takes lessons with the Pirate King, the best there is. When he's 21, he wants to stand on his own two feet, but his mates don't want to let him go just like that.
