The Nitwits plot
"HEAR THE NEWEST SENSATIONAL HIT "MUSIC IN MY HEART!"
Johnny and Newt are two empty heads who work at the cigarette counter at a record company, owned by Lake. Johnny splits his free time with his girlfriend, Lake's secretary. While Newt is busy inventing new devices, including an electric chair to get the truth out of people. Lake, who is already unloved, has made many enemies in his career, including his assistant and a lyricist. His wife also doesn't want anything from him anymore, after a slip.
