The Night We Dropped a Clanger plot
When German missiles land on England, intrepid Lieutenant Colonel and master spy Charles Blenkinsop (Rix) is tasked with sabotage the German nuclear program in occupied France. An ingenious operation is set up under the supervision of the absent-minded Lieutenant General Sir Bertram Bukpasser (Parker). A doppelganger of Blenkinsop must divert the attention of the Germans by appearing in North Africa. The perfect doppelganger seems to be the humble soldier Arthur Atwood, who especially excels at cleaning latrines. The fate of England is suddenly in his hands.
