"Nice guys" is a nice movie, fun and entertaining and as Left4Dead below indicates, it starts off nice and on a jumpy (for some viewers with sound in 7/10 and surround) way. The humor is better in the beginning than later in the film, but you should not want to see this film as a comedy but as a detective/thriller.
Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling are a catchy duo in the film and also do a great job, the young lady (daughter of Gosling) Angourie Rice is a fun, beautiful and humorous girl in this film who we believe may also have a bright future ahead of her. has as an actress!
A nice film for viewers who like action, humor and surprises, although the latter is not that bad.
A 7+.

Russell Crowe & Ryan Gosling make a very entertaining team together! Of course, the setup and plot is anything but original, but in the case of The Nice Guys it was nicely worked out! Having to laugh out loud several times at certain jokes and the joy of playing is also clearly visible in the actors.
Angourie Rice as Holly was also a successful addition!
The reference to Abbott & Costello was also liked by the way, probably many people don't understand this reference anymore. 
The Nice Guys looks pleasant, has well-timed jokes and a high feel-good factor. The story could have been a bit better but hey, these kinds of videos are always welcome for me. And the soundtrack is also very strong!

You see more of those lists with 'underrated movies' and this film is regularly included. Trailer and poster didn't invite me, but come on, if it's underrated so to speak, it could be a hidden gem.
Gosling and Crowe are exhausting acting, probably with the payslip as the only motivation. They don't really make sense anyway. Fortunately, they are helped by the young teenager Angourie Rice who can save the film a bit. Rice was also funny in the Spider-Man movies, could do with more comedy.
Furthermore, it is somewhat nicely decorated for a 70s atmosphere, but in its entirety it is not that special. Every once in a while you get a joke that works best, but those moments are rare. Too good for an action movie, too bland for a comedy. A buddy cop movie without cops.
