The New King of Comedy plot
Dreamy has been working hard for years to make her dream of becoming a film actress come true. Only her boyfriend Charlie supports her in this, while her family keeps trying to talk this out of her mind. On a film set she meets the manic-depressive actor Marco, who makes fun of her. As a result, she gives up her dream and moves back in with her parents. But then she suddenly gets an offer for a part in a big movie.
