The Missing Postman plot

Clive Peacock is a small-town postman in Dorset. He is happy with his job and wants nothing else. But his sorting center will also have new ultramodern equipment. Because he cannot drive a car and always delivers the mail by bicycle, he takes early retirement against his will. On his last working day, he collects all the mail and decides to deliver the mail by hand as a protest. The police and the press are after him, because he also has mail from the Queen. He always stays ahead of them and he meets many new friends.
