Among the honest citizens of Windsor, the scavenger Sir John Falstaff stands out as a trickster, an opportunist and an uncouth. Short on cash, he wants to court two wealthy married women, Mrs. Ford and Mrs. Page. Little does he know that they are consulting each other about this unexpected declaration of love. The women decide to pay him for this trick.
