The March Hare plot
Lizbeth Palmer is known among her friends as "The March Hare," and the daughter of a millionaire from Los Angeles comes to New York with a chaperone to visit her aunt. After a bet with the chaperone that she can live on 75 cents for a whole week, she takes on the role of a flower girl in a restaurant and makes a success of it with the young millionaire Tod Rollins, who invites her to his home. During a visit to her aunt, Mrs. Curtis Palmer, Lizbeth discovers that the butler's henchman has taken her name in an attempt to deceive her aunt.
